Demolition wood

Although not usually noticeable from the outside, demolition woods are often treated with wood preservatives and therefore polluted. This includes, for example, beams, roof battens, pickets, windows or doors. Garden furniture are usually also treated with wood preservatives to protect the wood against insects or fungi or with flame retardants. Boards, strips, furniture parts or similar may also have been treated with different substances and must be pre-sorted accordingly for further processing.
